Detailed explanation of LCD/LED LCD screen dispensing process

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) liquid crystal display is constructed by placing a liquid crystal box between two parallel glass substrates, with a TFT (thin film transistor) on the lower substrate glass and a color filter on the upper substrate glass. The rotation direction of the liquid crystal molecules is controlled by changing the signal and voltage on the TFT, thereby achieving the display purpose of controlling whether each pixel emits polarized light. At present, there are mainly two types: LED liquid crystal displays and LCD liquid crystal displays.

LCD is commonly found in electronic consumer products such as televisions, computer monitors, tablets, advertising machines, mobile phones, smart wearables, and smart homes, and is widely present in our daily lives. However, the LCD manufacturing industry has a large initial investment, high entry barriers, and is the upper level of the supply chain for LCD terminal consumer products. Therefore, it is far from the general public, and its processing and manufacturing processes are not well-known to the general public.


Substrate array process:

1. Glass substrate coated with photoresist/photoresist (4-5 times)


Color film process:

1. Glass substrate coated with black resin light blocking adhesive

2. Apply RGB (red/green/blue) photosensitive layers in sequence to the hollow areas of the black light blocking adhesive on the glass substrate

3. After completing the four layers of photosensitive adhesive process, apply a transparent organic protective layer+photosensitive resin material;


Cell process:

1. Coating oriented layer thin film

2. Dotting LCD on CF substrate requires high accuracy

3. Spot apply edge sealing UV adhesive on the TFT substrate (about to cut the outer edge size of the LCD screen)


Module process

1. Spot coating with anisotropic conductive adhesive and bonding FPC on the LCD panel

2. Apply conductive adhesive at the same point to bond the driver board PCB

3. Adhesive process between plastic frame and module
